Suspension of Visa Activities
In view of the CORONA-VIRUS PANDEMIC, The General Public is hereby informed that the Nigeria Visa Center (VFS) at Gartenstrasse 6, 60594, Frankfurt am Main has temporarily suspended the processing of Nigeria visa applications from 16th March, 2020 until further notice.
Kindly note that a new date for commencement of visa services shall be communicated accordingly.

This is to inform the General Public that the Consulate General will be closed on Tuesday and Wednesday, 20th and 21st of July 2021, for the Eid al-Adha Celebration in Nigeria.

International travel guidelines for travellers coming to nigeria

Abolition of Administrative Charges
This is to notify the general public that the Consulate has temporarily suspended all consular service and cancelled all appointments from 1st July 2021, till further notice.
NIGERIA CITIZEN SERVICES (NCS)
This is to inform visa and passport applicants that the payment of Administrative Charges has been cancelled.
Please, note that online payments for visa and passports still remain the same.
THE CONSULATE OF NIGERIA, FRANKFURT WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR A REFUND OF ANY PAYMENT PAID FOR APPLICATION AND CONSULAR FEES.
Processing of Nigerian Standard Passport is only by appointment, applicants are advised to follow the guidelines below.
GUIDELINES FOR PASSPORT APPOINTMENTS:
Applicants are requested to send all required application documents via Email: email@example.com.
Appointment date and time will be sent to applicants that have completed documents by Email.
Please note that you are required to bring along all your application documents to the Consulate on the day of your appointment.

Passport collection is on Consulate open days Monday to Thursday from 11 am – 3 pm (11:00 – 15:00). This is to be observed strictly.
